Group Supervision Training 2019

Group Supervision / Reflective Practice Groups can be rewarding experiences, when guided by comprehensive skills in supervision and group facilitation. They require more skill, confidence, professional empowerment and interpersonal skill and psychological agility to deal with the complexity of issues that can arise.

The training provides practical skill building opportunities including:

  • establishing a supervision / reflective practice group

  • creating psychologically safety and contracting

  • development of learning goals

  • reflective practice skill development

  • understanding learning styles and stages

  • facilitating group stages of development and group dynamics

  • balancing directive and facilitative approaches

 

This program provides participants with a solid theoretical basis and a comprehensive set of practical frameworks to guide group supervision practice.

Limited, free parking is available on Sutherland Rd, south of the venue. Convenient public transport options: Armadale train station (Frankston Line)

and No 5 and 6 trams are all within a few minutes walk of the venue.

Fees can be paid in the registration form by

  • Invoice your Workplace

  • Direct Deposit  - If you chose this option, please proceed using the Pay Now option in the registration form and select manual payment.

Select 'Pay Now' when completing the form and the desired date and a link will pop up to our store for your workshop ticket.

pay by credit card over the phone if you prefer or if you have any issues with the form.

Includes:

Comprehensive Workbook

As part of the training , you will receive a comprehensive workbook. It contains all of the workshop material, practical tools and frameworks. After the workshop you will be emailed an extensive list of resources. These are to help you utilise and consolidate the important concepts covered in the training which you can share with colleagues and your workplace.

Catering

A delicious catered lunch with morning & afternoon tea is all provided. 

Please indicate on your enrollment if you have any dietary requirements.

Scholarship:

Limited scholarship places are available for all workshops. Michelle understands that for many reasons people find themselves in challenging financial positions and she would like to be able to support access to high quality training.

Registration for the workshops:  Once we have received and processed your registration and payment, you will receive a confirmation via email, including venue and parking details. 

Tax invoice receipts will be issued as soon as payment is made or processed and certificates of attendance will be emailed within a week of the workshop.  

Cancellation Policy: 

Cancellations may be received in writing up to 2 weeks ahead.

If you need to cancel up until that time, you will receive a refund less a 25 % processing fee.

If you are unable to attend the workshop, you are welcome to pass on your place to a colleague.
