Feedback from our online programs has been excellent;

I am thoroughly enjoying the training thus far and am very impressed at how easily it is flowing on the online platform. Well done to you and your team for organising this so well!

The workshop had exceeded my expectations in what the course outline had detailed. The method of Zoom had been used successfully within this course (despite its limitations of too much screen time). I appreciate the preparation, work and method of presentation that Michelle Bihary had provided and her dedication to the importance of supervision and clinical support within the workplace.

The workshop was beyond amazing, Michelle used Zoom with amazing effect and created an engaging workshop!

“It went above my expectations into the heart of research around supervision, what it should look like and the research around why it may not and what to look out for.”

Are you keen to strengthen your skills and confidence as a professional supervisor?

Would you like some practical skills and frameworks that are easy to apply and will accelerate your skill base when supervising staff and students?

Would you like to learn how solid supervision skills can not only be of enormous benefit to clients and supervisees, but also to our own professional development?

Professional & Clinical Supervision should be a rewarding and inspiring experience for the supervisee and supervisor.

This popular 2-day training program, which includes a 12 month embedding program, provides participants with a solid theoretical basis and a rich set of practical frameworks to guide supervision practice. The training emphasises ways to build an engaging supervisory relationship, informed by values, self-awareness, emotional intelligence ensuring the development of a psychologically safe environment, where learning can flourish.

The workshop blends theory with practical experience, is highly interactive and relevant to anyone providing professional and clinical supervision, from workplace supervisor to external supervisor. This workshop has evolved over a number of years and has been delivered throughout Australia and New Zealand.

The training provides practical skill building opportunities in:

  • key functions of supervision

  • building a supervisory relationship

  • contracting & reviewing supervision

  • developing learning goals

  • reflective practice

  • unconscious processes

  • learning styles & developmental stages

  • other formats for supervision: peer, group or phone

  • delineating supervision and line management

  • implementing supervision within an organisational context

The program will enhance the supervisor’s ability to use a broad range of interventions from being a facilitator through

to providing content knowledge expertise.

As well as running this workshop through The Delta Centre, Michelle delivers in house supervision workshops, including presentations for supervisees on Getting the most out of Supervision, Contracting for Supervision, Supervision and Advanced Supervision Skills.

Michelle's Professional Supervision Training Feedback

Thank you for the fantastic training last week. People have come away feeling inspired and very positive.

A great way for us to start our work on our mentoring & professional supervision program.

Everyone has said that they are able to see how valuable this program is, and how useful it is for there to be a separation between line management and the mentoring and professional supervision program. Goal kicked!

Brilliant manner – ability to create safe learning environment for us - very good role model.

Well balanced and well paced, good mix of theory & practical.

Excellent content and excellent delivery. Very informative, useful, and productive. More than expected but in different ways – very illuminating.
