Family Therapy

Every family has its own unique culture and rules. 
 

 

Often when one person is struggling, it affects the other family members. Sometimes it is more effective to see all the people involved. 

 

Family therapy deals with changing relationship patterns, dynamics, stage of development help and transitions. It also deals with issues that may impact on the whole family, helping to resolve them in a harmonious, positive and productive manner. 
 

 

Family Therapy is strengths-based rather than problem-focused. It uses the resources of the whole family unit to develop new and different ways of interacting. The therapist may see the family as a whole, or different groupings.
