• Maintain clear boundaries

• Speak kindly to yourself

• See yourself as a strategist and set goals

• Take baby steps in the direction of your dreams

• Focus your energy on the here and now

• Be assertive: honour and express your feelings

• Give to others what you seek for your self

• Learn to forgive yourself and others

• Take time out to just ‘be’
